Your play stays yours.

Puzzle progress, discoveries and preferences are saved on your device. New versions also offer optional iCloud sync and journey export. New versions support optional Google Analytics, rewarded ads and new-world alerts as described below; older versions may not include these features.

This website

This website introduces Foldlight. It does not include playable puzzles or advertising. If you choose “Allow analytics”, Google Analytics uses cookies to measure page visits and interactions such as viewed sections, navigation, FAQ openings and contact-link clicks. We do not send your name, email, message content or URL query strings, and we do not enable advertising personalization or Google signals. Analytics stays off until you allow it. You can change or withdraw your choice using “Privacy choices” at the bottom of any page. Your choice and Analytics cookies are kept for up to 180 days; withdrawing permission removes the Analytics cookies on this website and stops new Analytics events from this browser. Previously collected data is not removed by changing this choice. Learn more about how Google uses data. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may process technical request and page-performance information to serve and protect the website. The app’s optional services are described below.

Optional Google services

Google Analytics is off by default. If you enable Help improve Foldlight in Settings → Privacy choices, Google processes app usage, gameplay events and device information to help improve puzzles. We do not send your name, email, or puzzle save. You can turn this off at any time; disabling collection also resets the app’s local Analytics identifier.

Optional Google AdMob rewarded ads give one extra hint after Google confirms the reward. Google may process device, network, approximate location, ad interaction and diagnostic data to serve and measure ads and prevent fraud. Foldlight requests non-personalized ads and does not request the advertising identifier. Google’s consent form is shown where required, with Ad privacy choices in Settings when applicable. New-world alerts are optional and use Apple Push Notifications and Firebase Cloud Messaging. Google processes an installation identifier, push token and language topic subscription for delivery. Foldlight’s content database does not store your push token. Disable alerts in Settings → Reminders & new worlds or iPhone Settings.

Save, sync and support

Optional iCloud sync stores puzzle progress, saved puzzles and earned badges with Apple under your iCloud account. Hint credits and payment details are excluded. You can export a journey file and merge it on another device. Local play statistics stay on your device unless you enable Analytics. Optional crash reporting is off by default; Firebase Crashlytics receives technical crash data and the current puzzle reference after you opt in. Puzzle reports send the puzzle ID, content revision, app version, issue type and message you choose to send to our support dashboard. Do not include personal information. Reports are deleted after 90 days. An opaque, temporary rate-limit bucket protects the report endpoint; it does not store your raw IP address.

Purchases and downloads

Apple processes payments. Pro downloads send an Apple-signed transaction to verify current access with Apple. Short-lived access tokens authorize downloads; purchase documents are not stored in our content database. A one-way purchase identifier hash and the latest entitlement event time/status are stored to process refunds and revocations. We never receive payment-card details. Our hosting provider processes technical request data, including IP addresses, to operate and protect the service.

Reminders and local data

Optional reminders are scheduled on your device only after you choose a time and grant permission. Turn them off in Foldlight Settings or iPhone Settings. Deleting the app removes its local puzzle saves. Hint credits and their purchase ledger are stored in the device Keychain, which may survive deletion. They are not uploaded to our content service or synchronized to another device. Restoring purchases restores access, not progress from another device.
